Bouazizi, one year past, many ahead

designed by Effer Lecébé

Today is the 17 of December 2011, a year ago Mohammad Al Bouazizi burned himself ... or more correctly he freed himself !

i don't feel like writing anything at this moment, i just felt that its my duty to tribute this section to a brave man !

No i am not making Bouazizi a new god, maybe we are over hyping his humanity, who knows?
or maybe we are still searching for our Bouazizi, maybe we need a new Bouazizi in every nation !
regardless i still envy your courage and genuine freedom, RIP Bouazizi

if you can hear me , i have a message for you

"the road is very long, but taking the first step is the only right way"

My Music

Well as you can see from my previous posts, I truly believe in the power of music & the message that it holds. So I decided to share with you guys what I believe is "good music" by good I mean powerful, lyrical, artistic and suits me :)

First, we start with "Speed Caravan" a French Electro/Rock band with a wicked mix of Arabic beats. I mean seriously who could mix an electric guitar with Oud  and yet make it sound sexy?
The track is called QAT Market, hope you enjoy it.

To Vittorio With Love

"Calling you" by DARG team is a simple proof of what Arab youth thinks when it comes to terrorism. With our music we can fight ignorance.
This song is a remembrance to the pure soul of  Vittorio Arrigoni

As I promised, we will continue fighting the dirty hands & minds that killed Vittorio.

May your soul R.I.P.

OH Syria! I am speechless

The logo reads "it`s your turn doc"

First, a one must clearly acknowledge the huge lack of  accurate media coverage in Syria. except the retard Syrian GOV TV , there is no alternative news source except maybe the social media info-videos , its very hard to authenticate anything in Syria , till now it appears that hunderds are already dead!

Am really speechless regarding the brutality of  the current syrian regime, in this time its really hard to talk about anything going on in Syria So am quoting what i think are great words regarding our continuous struggle for Freedom

"The struggle for justice should never be abandoned because of the apparent overwhelming power of those who seem invincible in their determination to hold on to it. That apparent power has, again and again, proved vulnerable to human qualities less measurable than bombs and dollars: moral fervor, determination, unity, organization, sacrifice, wit, ingenuity, courage, patience”
Howard Zinn

"Most people want security in this world, not liberty”
H.L. Mencken

"We are free, truly free, when we don't need to rent our arms to anybody in order to be able to lift a piece of bread to our mouths”
Ricardo Flores Magon

"Patterning your life around other's opinions is nothing more than slavery”
Malcolm X
“You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has freedom"
Malcolm X

“The memory of oppressed people is one thing that cannot be taken away, and for such people, with such memories, revolt is always an inch below the surface”
 Howard Zinn
